I'm interested in putting a CD player in my '93 Barefoot Nautique (Nautique Excel). It didn't come with one, so I need to know the best place to install it, where it will be out of the way and out of the weather. I've seen one similar to myboat installed in the back side of the covered glove box, which looked prety good, and stayed fairley dry. Does anyone have any better ideas? Where would be a good place to mount a medium size amp?

If memory serves me correct the factory mounted the radio in the glovebox with a plastic peice that tipped the radio at a angle, you could use screws or pop rivets to hold to the inside. If it is the Barefoot Nautique it should be a closed bow and there should be a vertical board running forward from the kick board to the bow area. -
