    FM Transmitter On Your Boat?

    http://www.amazon.com/0-5-Fail-Safe-...7004387&sr=1-1

Going to get one of these to use when I am floating with buddies boats or hanging at the sandbar so we can listen to the same music. Anyone try anything like this before?

your link isnt working. Im not sure what that is but, We use satalite radio and anyone rafting with us can tune their radio to the station receiving the signal.

          That is awesome.

I tried similar with a crap $10 unit a few years ago and could barely get across the room. I'm in love with that thing. I already have ideas how it could be mounted in a plastic ammo or tote box for easy portability...maybe with a battery in the bottom of the box and connection breakouts on the side. The power draw is probably very low.

For an easy portable unit look at the Crane FM Transmitter. It can be ran off of 4 AAA batts. If you do the Mod (turning a dial inside the unit to increase the watts) I have read they do well. The unit I am buying will run of cig adapter.

Sent from my van down by the river!
