xs-12 box specs correct?

I'm assuming the specs for the xs-12 on their site are correct, and that the 1.64 had already taken into account the sub's displacement. before i get building i wanted to make sure that these specs are indeed accurate. also, the box is going to be a seat/step, so how much bracing should i use? thanks for the help.

when i do the calculations myself, length x width x depth/1728 it comes out to 2.2cu ft. taking into account the 3/4" wood, sub, and port is where they get 1.64cu ft. correct? before i build this thing i want to make sure it's all as perfect as it feasibly can be. marine ply, coated in marine epoxy in and out, epoxy filled, countersunk screws, rubber gasket, terminal cup w/ banana plugs, hdpe feet, and a few coats of resin probably with some paint or rhino liner.

I was running my XS12 in a much smaller cabinet. If it were me I would not build a sealed box with more than 1.5 cubic feet. If it is a ported box I would go with 2.0 cubic feet (gross volume). I am sure David or Tim have much more experience than me building boxes for this sub. I was also running 1000 watts to mine.
