SV-211 Clarion XMD-3 Intermittent Crackling

SV-211, 04, 90 hours, new owner, mint condition. 2nd time out. After boating for a couple hours, tower speakers started to intermittently crackle, or pop. Some sort of interference or feedback. Didn't matter if radio, CD, or AUX. Used radio the 1st time out with no issue. Have used radio in garage for a couple hours without issue.

Connections seemed fine. Did notice the radio was a re-man. Was very, very hot yesterday.

Any suggestions?

Went on lake yesterday and had same issue. Disconnected both tower speakers and no further issues the rest of the day. What's the best way to figure out if it is the speakers, wiring, amp, or the Clarion?

On my 211 the subwoofer mount keeps coming loose. That causes the RCA plugs on the amp to bounce loose. I usually just press the RCA plugs on and turn and that solves the same issue on my boat.
