Repairing a broke amp and accidentally broke the tip of the rca plug in the cmd4 rca lead, no way it's coming out as its corroded. How hard is it to cut the clarion cmd4 RCA plug off and replace? Does the cmd4 rca wire have 2 internal wires or1wire and braided sheath? Thanks.

Its a nightmare if you try to follow the factory run thuough the loomis . Same thing happend to me. I bought 20 ft of rca wire because you cant just splice a new end on. I have a 2002 sante and i ran the wire with fish tape forward above the drivers kick board, to front of boat under the right bow passenger seating area, went around the floor molded area and back thuough where my factory sub is mounted, then to the amp. Not fun but doable.
