    Volume on 2012 SANTE

Anyone else here complained about the volume button on the new boats with linc?

It's a real pain in the rear because if you click it like 19 times it delays for a second or two and then rises. It takes forever to get the volume up . When I pulled a few people it literally takes a solid minute or so to get the volume up or it goes too high because I clicked it to many times.

There is a function called auto volume (preference screen) that you can adjust to your liking that will lower the volume automaticaly when you slow down and put it back up when you accelerate. I have mine set-up at 3 and it is working well.

Also, when you want to mute the sound from any screen, a two consecutive quick press of the audio button will do the job and when you'll accelerate again, it will start playing again.

I also thought at first that it was not responsive (fast) enough and was in the process of buying a MW2 remote, but with these two features, no more problems.

I turned off the auto volume because it screamed when we went faster. But your probably right If i play with it then that would be nice. Thanks for the tip on the mute as I had no idea?

That's why I have lowered the auto-volume value, try it, you should find a setting that suits you. I've learned about the mute feature yesterday morning! Just saved me 200$ worth of remote. I don't know if is mentionned in the boat manual, haven't checked yet, it was given to me by a sale/service person from my dealer.
