    Amp Location Help

I am adding a dedicated amp to my tower speakers, Wetsounds Sync 2. That said, I have the factory Clarion 4 channel and 2 channel under the box on the right side of the compartment. Where would you recommend adding the third? I spent lots of time under the dash today and can't find an ideal spot. Any suggestions???

    Thanks,

    Brandon

More info might get more responses. It sounds like you want to put it under the drivers spot.

I am open to putting it anywhere in close proximity to the other stereo, as I don't ant to be forced to run wiring all over the boat for sound. It appears the easiest option is to reconfigure the amps under the glovebox to add the third. Only problem I see is adjusting gains or crossovers in the future. I am open to any other suggestions, at this point I am stumped.

Oh ok. I don't have the same boat, but it's pretty easy to fit 3 amps under there. I have an old 210 with 2 syn 6 mounted to the port wall under the observers seat, and sub amp on the opposite wall. Just flip the amp so you can get to the gains whichever way is easiest. Are you running individually fused amps with their own cables from the battery or a distribution block?
