    Frequency setting question

I've turned down all the 420 adjustments,x not a lot, but down. I turned them down mostly bc they were too bright. I turned the bass levels down mainly to be safe I guess. My frequency is about 110 high pass for towers and in boats. Sub isn't in yet. I like how it sounds now, but I started thinking if it sounds too bright that maybe I should lower the freq. and gain. This would increase the lower frequencies passing thru though. If that makes any sense your thoughts would be appreciated.

    Gride,

Start w/ your sub at 80hz and other speakers at 120hz. Think of the gains as your volume controls. You can fine tune your system from there but these frequencies are good starting points.

Where approximately is 120? Right now I'm set just past the z in "Hz."

Could you post a pic of your controls? I don't remember exactly how the dial is setup on the 420.

I actually just dropped it off to get a trailer hub fixed. I'll post pics of the freq. and gain settings along with 420 settings. Like I said, I'm happy with it now, but the towers are very bright, but still have a lot of bass when 420 is flat. The in boats seem very bass filled, but tolerably bright.
