LINC stereo control

Hey y'all.

I normally read and rarely post, but I need some help. I have a 2010 SANTE 210 with the LINC system. On the dash there is no wired remote becuase it goes through the LINC. My problem is the system goes back to the default screen after several seconds and I have to continuously go back to the music screen to control tracks and volume. Is there a way to program some stereo controls on the default screen? I hate wasting my time on the dash and not watching the rider.

I've been thinking about getting the MF1 remote, but don't know how many Y adapters I can connect to the stereo for remotes. Anyone know if you can connect multiple Y adapters to get 3 wired remotes?

I haven't been able to check with my dealer yet. Hopefully there's a better knowledge base on this forum. THX.

I would go with a wired (MW1/MW2) as the wireless is not responsive (fast) to my taste. It should work with 3 remotes (2 Y's).

You can tinker with the stereo timeout attribute in the LINC settings but the max you'll be able to get before flipping back to the previous screen is 40 seconds.

Adding an additional wired remote is also on my wish list. The CMD6 supports 3 wired remotes. My plan is to add a Y-cable behind the dash to connect into an additional remote. I plan on using an MW1 to match the transom remote and to swap out the left lower dash panel for the 2009 version that was chrome like the 2011 but had the mounting hole for the remote.

Go to the settings screen on the Main Menu and customize the length of time the Stero menu will stay up.
