clarion remote...what is difference between cmrc1-cc and cmrc1-bss

I just got in mail replacement clarion remote for my 2008 sante 210. box from dealer shows cmrc1-cc. I don't really need it and was going to sell on ebay, but ebay has people selling only cmrc1-bss. does anyone know the difference? I guess i will have to call clarion monday. only guess i have is that cc stands for correct craft, and bss is black stainless steel. they look same. i can't try it since my boat was converted to all alpine stuff, which is why i don't need it....
