can't seem to get tower speakers to stay put...

so i have pro 80's on my fct-1. i have the rubber insert along with the tape around the tower. however, they seem to rotate down and aft so that the grill is facing more towards the sun deck. can i spray some hair spray or something on the inserts before i i mount them or ???

Try cutting fine and shallow side to side lines in the inserts with a sharp razor knife. Clean the inserts with alcohol and rinse them right away with water. If that doesn't work try one half of an undersized liner. If that doesn't work try a thin sheet of silicon rubber (it won't get greasy and slippery in the heat). If that doesn't work try some double-sided Kent tape. You can replace it once per season.
