m3the01- Thanks for this post...I have an '01 SAN and was just getting ready to order those speakers this morning. Why do the speakers not fit? Are they too wide or are the brackets located in the wrong spot in relation to the cross members? How do you like them now? Sorry for all the questions and thanks again. Any pics?

Luv them, im having a custom bracket made this week. They look wonderful, thought they would be louder be ive never heard tower speakers before. When your in the drivers seat there not even loud, but when your on the back seat **** there loud. For instance you could have a pretty normal tone conversation with a passenger next to the drivers seat with the volume on 25(clarion xmd-1), impossible on the back seats.

My setup consists of, Skylon Deafcon V's, kicker sx600.2(ikeSound $329US brand new not refurb with warranty), 8 pin skylon wiring harness( 2 wires per connection, meaning r + has two wires, r- two wires and so on.

I was a little scared i thought i blew the amp cause no sound was coming through, i had to adjust the imput level on the amp to only 1v then all was good.

Yeah its the widest cross member that gets in the way, basically im having the bracket machined out to take care of the cross member clearance.

All in all, happy. If the bracket was dead on i would be extremely happy. Skylon is taking care of the cost associated with the machining of the bracket.

PS really easy to take on and off with only two giant Stainless bolts holding each side on. Nice when you have a cabin and want to take them off when you leave. Im sure someone would have stole those in under a week. Im even worried about the amp now that i think about it.

m3the01- Any update on the Deafcon V install/performance. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago for my '01 SAN and still NO estimated date of delivery. Any pics?
