For those of you with 2nd gen FCT's (the ones from 2000 - 2003 and again in 2005-2006), how did you wire your tower speakers? Did you go through the rear leg and use a neutrik disconnect or just go through the front leg with the jacketed wire and no neutrik disconnect? Pics welcome.

I'm not sure what FC tower mine is but it looks like the one pictured here. Its a 2003 226 sante. I mounted pro80s under the rear hoop and used a disconnect from a hobby shop. I'll Add pics later but the connectors are gold platted and can handle way more power than my arc audio can put to them. I didnt want to have a connector but it was the only way I could find to get the wire to the rear hoop.

Came up thru the front port side foot, which was open to the tube, transferred from lower tube to upper tube like in Gride's pic. Exited front bar of upper tube at (2) spots closest to speakers, which are mounted on the rear upper tubes. Used Neutrik connectors at end of speaker wire run.
Used rubber grommets and braided wire mold where wire exited/entered tubes.

These pics are from my tower light install, but tower speakers are done much the same way...
I drilled a hole through the backing plate, fiberglass, and tower leg mount...
Ran wires up front leg into front hoop of upper tower...
I use braided wire sleeving and heat-shrink the ends to keep it from fraying. I also prefer the holes drilled from lower to upper legs on the backside of the tubing instead of the frontside, but either will work. I use plastic grommets at all tubing penetrations.Jason

Thanks all. As I have Wetsounds Rev8s with the ability to hide the wire through the mounting ring, I think I will go through the back leg of the tower and use a quick disconnect for when I fold the tower. I will take pics and post. Now

Also, I used the exact same stuff as core rider. I purchased it from Genuinedealz on ebay. I did use a much smaller hole in the tower though.
