    Wet sounds Xs-12 review

I have a single xs-12 with 600watts rms powered by channels 5/6 in low pass from a Syn 6 amplifier. It is run through a 420 eq. The box is ported and built to wet sounds specs. The box is mounted behind the divers seat firing into the starboard hull. The pure output in the open air environment is amazing. The sound quality reminds me of my jl 10w6 in a sealed box, just not quite as tight. The amp frequency is set @ about 100hz an the 420 adjustment is at 9 o'clock. I have the sub volume on the 420 just below half while I break in the sub, an it still has great sound and goo output. The newer sub is much shallower than the 1st gen. Of xs-12's. I'm very happy. Also, the build quality is stellar.
