    Power Supply question

I am in the process of relocating my amps in my boat, for the past two years they have been sitting on the floor of my right rear compartment on the side of the engine. I am relocating them to under the spotter's seat against the hull screwed into marine board that is glued to the fiberglass. I was buying wire yesterday and for power I got 40' of 4 gauge, 5' 8guage, and 2 JL 1 4guage to 2 8 guage splitters. Is this guage wire going to plenty for 1100 watts?

Oh yea, and where should I put the inline fuse? near amps or near battery, does it matter?

Thats the same size wire I have run for my system and it works fine. Make the 8 guage wire runs as short as possible and put the in line fuse on the 4 guage wire as close to the battery as possible.

Cool, that is the plan. Thanks, Fatboy, love your new 211, I've seen you at every Hyco but we have never formally met. I've got the reverse blue 01 SAN

Yea I have noticed your boat at Hyco. It looks really good, I love those colors. We will have to hook up next time.
