SAN 04' Alternator Replacement

Guys, I have recently installed my new stereo system in the 2004 SAN, and will post some pics of the install shortly.

When I have the volume up the battery drops below 12 and the console beeps at me, I am running 2 optima bluetop Batterys and a 2.4 Farred Cap. I figure I need to upgrade the factory alternator but want to maintain the warranty.

The guys at the West coast nautique service center told me there were a couple of options I could use and still maintain the warranty but I have not been able to find anything on the PCM website.

Any Ideas ?

The '05 alternators are 100-amp. This was a change done for 2005, and I would imagine that you could add that alternator to your existing engine without voiding the warranty. Please check with your dealer to confirm though.

Do you have any problems with your remote on the dash? I would suppest the 05 alt. also.

I just had the boat serviced and replaced the in-dash remote which cracked within the first 2 months.
