LED Question

Hi All,

I am looking at changing out my stock white lights for blue. I have some reservations on colors due to blue on water being reserved for safety. Does anyone have any information on this? Any of the crew running different color LED lighting? I was thinking of switching my underwater and my courtesy lighting.

I'm pretty sure as long as you don't change the main red/green and white pole light you will be fine. I added blue.

I like it. How did you wire everything?did you go to a separate switch?where did u pull power from up front?

I had an extra Accessory switch that was not being used but your accessory light switch should handle what ever you do if you use LED's. The power was already at the aux switch and all I had to do was connect in.

Remember they use blue lights to attract bugs in bug zappers too... Since changing my blue LEDs to white after getting ticketed they don't attract quite as many bugs as the blue ones did but they still attract a ton of bugs. Every morning after partying with my lights and stereo running I need to clean thousands of dead bugs out of my boat.

What type of waterway were you on when you got ticketed? Sounds crazy....
