    2001 SAN - Speaker locations

Quick question for anyone out there with a 2001 SAN. I have no speakers in the seating area with the exception of the one beside the drivers seat. I have 2 speakers behind the rear seat built into the removable grey panels that 'close off' the engine bay and storage lockers. I've seen pics of other 2001s that have speakers all around the seats and built into the upholstery.

Can anyone explain this?? (not that it really matters)

If you do a google image search for "2001 super air nautique interior" the 2nd picture on the 3rd page(when searching from my iPhone anyways) should answer your question. The factory location is in the combing pads(I think that's what they are called). Your set up was obviously done after market and likely whoever did it didn't want cut into the interior. I think all boats come from the factory with the speaker holes cut in, if you feel from the backside you should be able to find the holes and then you just need to carefully cut the upostry to expose them. If you search here of CCF there should be some tips on doing that but I think the idea is to cut an X pattern and fold the material back. Hope this helps.
