    Wet sounds ws 420 mounting

I have an 05 210 and the previous owner has the ws420 mounted under the dash right side. It's ok but his mount moves abit and I was wondering if any one could post pictures of where they mounted theirs and how they did it

Here is how mine looks currently

The method of using heat-formed ABS as an angled adapting bracket or adapting bridge between two available mounting points is completely sound. It may have worked lose. You may need to add rigidity. You may need to level it a bit better. You may need additional attachment points. You may need a rear back brace for stability. The execution probably just needs a little refinement.
I would place a deeper intermediate panel between the ABS and EQ bracketry so I would have something to strain relief my RCA cables to.

Ah it's some help for the most part any reply is good help. Kinda stings being the new guy. You have to start all over building credit etc. been apart of some forms over ten years built a local forum here for sport bikers the quit racing turned it over a friend when I got out because I lost interest. However always found some of the most obvious solutions the dumbest and then the point of these forums the eye openers.

Is yours mounted with the same plastic like material?

Kinda figured wet sounds would be cranking out special boxes to mount them in for the popular models and brands. But on the other hand sometimes it's better to just stick to what your good at.

ViSoR, can you take a pic of the backside? I plan on using Exile's product (no mic) because it allows gain adjustment for sub and tower. I appreciate it. BTW, your Alpine remote makes my Clarion remote feel old.

              TWrandall,
If understood and applied correctly, the Wetsounds EQ can do both of those things with the addition of a paragraphic bass EQ circuit, with the addition of dual EQ zones (separate in-boat and tower EQs), with the addition of a mic and PA system, with the addition of boat link and without the need for a redundant lowpass filter (that is already contained on every modern amplifier). Plus, the Wetsounds EQ build quality is heads and shoulders superior. Try doing a little deeper research.

I will need to check that out. I didn't think they has a separate bass volume adjustment built in. Thank you David.

                  Twrandall,
Contact me and I will show you exactly how to make the Wetsounds EQ provide bass with the tower speakers while the in-boat speakers are partially or fully attenuated.
Most boat owners consider the sub to be part of the in-boat zone. I do also. However, a few use the system differently. But you can have it both ways with the Wetsounds WS420 EQ.

Mine is screwed to a piece of plastic that is screwed through the metal. Attached are some photos that might give you some ideas.

One of my many winter projects. I moved this fairly easily, plus it gave me the opportunity to try and quiet down the rattle in that panel.
