Just ordered new 2013 SANTE 210. My understanding is that the Team Editions come standard with 2 Nautique Tower Speakers. Noticed that many of the 2013 Boats at the DFW Boat Show had 4 Nautique Tower Speakers. I am wondering if we should get the additional 2 speakers. Thoughts?

Depends on your goals. To put it simply, 4 would be double of what you get with just a single pair. So if they are the 6.5" coaxials, then adding another pair would be louder near-field. If you are looking for a surf and party-cove setup, then you will have a nice setup. If your primary focus is reaching 80ft back with audible music for your rider, then 2 pair of coaxials will not be as effective as one pair of HLCDs. Going with a larger HLCD will give you a warmer more natural sound close, much like the coaxials. Its possible that you may need to make an amp change as well, if you went the HLCD route.

First off congrats on the new boat! I picked up a 2012 230 last month and ran into the same issue. I originally was going to upgrade the tower speakers to 2 pairs of Roswell HLCDs but very quickly realized that is cost prohibitive (adding an additional pair of Roswell HLCDs to the tower). For around the same price I ended up picking up 4 Wetsounds Rev10s. Now I already have 2 Wetsounds amps to complete the system so I didn't have to upgrade anything there. At least not yet anyways (gotta get it all installed in the next month or so). But like MLA said it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish...2016 Super Air Nautique 230 (sold)
2014 Super Air Nautique 230 (sold)
2012 Super Air Nautique 230 (sold)
2008 Super Air Nautique 220 (sold)

Thanks for the info. We spend most of our time surfing so will probably stick with the 2 Nautique speakers for now. Actually trading in our 2012 SAN 210 for the 2013 SANTE 210 w/ NSS. Ordered the new one from Buxton. Love working with Phil and Andrew. Pick the new boat up in April.
