Updating Linc System

Hey All,

I know I seen a post at one point on this but I cannot find it so I am asking

Has anyone updated their linc system? my maps are a bit outdated and was wondering how to update. I briefly remember someone stating taking the chip out and updating it but I am not sure where this is or how to do it. Any information would be awesome.

I think this might be the post in question but I am not sure this will help with the problem you described in the Maint. section as this seems like the chip is only for the GPS mapping.

Good luck getting your Linc back online. If I were you I would call your dealer and see what they recommend but hopefully they can send you the software that is needed for the update and you can upload it from a laptop and not have to drag it back to them.

Thanks for the responses. Great for GPS issues, but unfortunately won't do anything for the issue I'm trying to deal with. fingers crossed that I will hear from dealer or Nautique soon with a solution
