2001 Super Sport Head Unit update… HELP
My 2001 SS had a Fair Clarion CM1. I wanted to add a AUX input, Subwoofer control, and Higher Pre Amp, and deck wattage. So when I traded my F150 I pulled the Pioneer Premier Deck.
Install issues.
I got the Nautiqueparts adapter ring but it would not fit behind the dash and none of the holes would line up.
So I got a Standard deck sleeve and cover, but the current hole was to small and it looked like the face would sit on the area well.
So I drilled new holes on the Nautiqueparts adapter ring, slide it behind the stock hole and did my best to get it place.
Now I am looking for a cover to install over the top for water protection.
I got a standard clam shell cover, but it will not fit will the way the top kind of rolls over the area.
Question:
Can anyone give me an idea on how to make a cover, or rig up a standard cover to water protect my nice head unit?
