Great idea, I have been using a box under my back pole to raise the cover and allow water to run off instead of sitting. What are you doing for transport with this?

I haven't driven with it yet, but I am just going to leave it on, shouldn't be an issue, the plastic sandwiches the cover material so it seems structurally sound.

How does it preform in the bow of the boat? since you are removing the poles does it pull the bow tight as well? I seen one pic of a Nautique where they placed two of these in the cabin. Wouldn't think that is required. Let me know how transport goes. If it holds up I think a purchase is in order on this wonderful Monday.

Looks great. Have you towed with it like this? I'm wondering whether a long tow at highway speeds might wear on it. If not, I'll be ordering one, too.

I'm wondering about the trailering issue also. Either way I'm getting one, because I have the same issues. Not to mention it looks like it will make the cover easier to put on. Not a fan of the covers now, but I was going to take the boat to where the cover was made and have them fix mine. The place is only a couple miles from my house.

Gasman - I would love to buy direct from your friends if they would. Give all the money to people vs Overtons. Nothing again overtons, I just haven't had much luck with them over the years.

Covering is substantially easier now. The only problem is I might have mounted it a tad bit further forward. Other than that its holding up very well.
