Appreciate the recommendation a few months back - it certainly helps when you're going to spend that kind of money, especially in an industry with as many fly by night shops out there. There are a number of good shops in the Charlotte area but Michael was great to work with.
+1 for Michael at MLA. He has my new 230 in the shop right now and he is always great to work with (this is my second Nautique he has worked on - their installations are immaculate) - getting four white Rev10s, blue LED Rings, WS 420 EQ and WS SD2....she'll be ready tomorrow night....can't wait!
Jrz1 - incredible looking G.....nice choice, especially the color scheme you decided on. Congrats on the boat and awesome stereo job! Can't wait to see this beast on Norman sometime this summer.
Andrew - Thanks. I saw your boat there as I was picking up mine Saturday morning. Very nice looking boat. Was the blue Masters or some other shade? Looked great.
Jim - thank you for the compliments on my 230, greatly appreciated (especially coming from a G Series owner ). My blue is in fact Masters Blue - my last boat (2008 SANTE 210) was Vapor Blue / Black.....I think I like the Masters Blue better. It seems to pop more on the water. Is your G Masters Blue as well (love the blue tower)?
We definitely need to exchange info and do some riding together. I live on Mountain Island Lake, but can trailer to Norman anytime.
Hah, I thought it was slightly different but must have been way it caught light outside vs. mine inside. Yes, my G25 is Masters as well. The tower turned out well. My kids bugged me for more color in this boat vs. what I had on our 247 and I think it turned out great. Very happy with the combo though I like so many different color combos! So many boats, so little time.....
I live south of CLT but we have a lake house up on Norman. Hoping to get some good time in the boat this coming weekend.
Thanks Surfer. It's not for everyone but if you can afford something like it, the sound quality is impressive. MLA did a great job with the install and set up.
hy am doing an exact replica of your system on a 2014 g23,,question ,,how big is that grill that replaced the trash bin door ??
is it larger than the 12 inch sub behind it ?? is there any way i could get a template of that grill ??would really appeciate it,,
thanks
I guess I need to go back to the 230 if I want to do the upgrade on the sound system. It look great, if only we could hear it. You wouldn't have a couple of factory tower speakers for sale?
2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop
2010 SANTE 230 343 (280hrs)
pre 2010 - various open bow boats and jet skis
Looks like a lot of these stereo shops are copying these grills, put about the 800 pounds of batteries and wet sounds front end controller
here are some pics of my instal
I like the sliding amp racks! I guess there are fans moving air through to keep them cool? I think this is the first G I've seen with Rev410s as well. They fit nicely. How did you power them... SD4?
