Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me if you have boards in them can you swivel them in close to halfway to help with taking them on or off

But the great thing abou the instal was we didn't have to redign the Bimini top, we were able to leave all of that stock, no adjustments in height.

Here's a couple of shots of the starboard side modifications and XS-XXX slot loaded enclosure installed. Also a couple of the bimini installed. The empty racks close to full and locked position without rubbing.

One slight correction on the MCC404s - We are running them mono for 600W @ 4 ohms per REV410. ;-)

awesome.... thanks for the pics. really like the idea of a sub in front of the driver's feet. Thats the first Ive seen that I'd consider to copy.

If you invert those board racks..... you'll be able to put wakeboards with boots in the top racks. Inverting them will buy you 6-10" of clearance. Still work just as well, they just dont sit with such a high angle on the forks.

here's what they look like inverted.

If you have the pocket door air dam you don't have that space in there for sub in front of the driver. I was disappointed to pull open the compartment and find a stainless steel housing for the door.

I have the slide in door.... so it looks like I'm in business. Perhaps a project for next winter.

But that would give me 2 subs in 2 very different locations. I have the Fi 15" in the factory OEM location, and then this would put another 12" or so under the dash.

David comments that when you separate the subs that much you run into real phasing issues, bass quaility deteriorates etc. I havent done it before so I dont have any reference other than what other folks have said about it.

                    Thanks for the share.

One question though, how did you get remove that seat back to get under the dash?

I'm afraid of cutting out that back part. It looks like it is a structial part. I looked at doing it to my 13 but never did. But after seeing the pictures, I just might have to go it.

No it's inside the driver console. If you remove the front seat back you'll see it. It kinda looks like a pickup sub box.

Since we are on the subject on installation- For those of you that are in the Dallas region, I would recommend Earmark / those in Austin - slate systems - Those in Houston Custom Car Stereo - They are all not the cheapest - but they will do it right and you will always get what you pay for when using those companies. I tried the inexpensive route once and what a nightmare it was.

                                Tabiggs,
Looking at the precision, 'behind the scenes' detail, and man hours that Justin invested in your project, I don't think an installing dealer can ever fully charge for all the true hours involved. It's just part of doing custom. Some of that investment on the installing dealer's part has to be written off against the marketing column.
