    stock wire size? power and ground

    Anybody know the stock wire size for the factory amplifer circuit, ground and power? Boat is an '08 SAN 230. Thanks!

    The brand 'General' makes a wire gauge tool that is found in most good hardware stores if you don't get an answer.

          Speaker wire is 14awg tinted marine. Laketexoma is right, it's 6 or 8 for amp power/ground.

          If you're adding amps, definitely want to run new wire.
