    Amp options

    Hi all,
I'm not a huge audiophile but have over the last few years basically went all wet sounds on the boat- I originally had a threesome set up powered by a syn6 amp and ws420. The threesome was getting tired and had them sent back to wet sounds and they recommended new speakers and not spending the money on repairs... Long story short I ditched the 3 some and got a deal on a brand new set of pro 80s. Fast forward to today, I'm having amp issues and sent it back to wet sounds after diagnosis and def narrowing the problems down to the amp. If this isn't worth fixing or is unable to be repaired what is the best route to go with just 2 pro 80s. Was thinking about maybe a syn4 bridged. Any other suggestions? Doesn't have to be wet sounds but want at least that level of loud and clarity. I'm not a "money is no object" guy so some cost effective suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you much in advance and sorry for the lengthy post.

    A Syn-4 definitely pushes a pair of Pro-80's to the edge with 400W rms each. I would not hesitate to recommend a full-range Class-D HT-4 @ 300W x 2. The Syn-2 is also a perfect option. Outside of the Wet Sounds stable, the Kicker full-range Class-D IX500.4 will deliver 250W rms x 2. The Arc audio Class-D XDi804 will deliver 240W rms x 2 to a pair of speakers.
