FCT3 wire questions

So looking at the FCT3 wiring diagram I believe I should have four wires coming out of each plug (2 for stereo and 2 for lights) in the pre-wired holes. But when I putt them out I only get one wire? Am I missing something?

For instance the starboard side had one purple and black wire attached to the plug.

Also it looks like they are 16AWG. Is that going to be ok for a REV8 wired in parallel?

Keep pulling. Unless the dealer has removed the wiring you will find more wiring when you continue to pull the wiring out.

Ah I guess the trick is that you have to cut the wire in half where the plug holds onto it? Lights are taped farther down. One half of the wire is + and the other - .

About to cut. Stop me if I am wrong.

Well looks like they are taped about 4 inches farther down. There is just not enough slack to pull them that far out...
