1999 super sport bow speakers

has anyone added bow speakers to one of these, or a similar model? I wonder why there arent any? I have a nice wetsounds system, but it is not great in the front while underway! I was thinking of adding a pair under the grab rails, but they would have to be small. THANKS FOR ANY REPLIES!

I think I have seen this modification made on a boat in a for sale ad on this site before. I just took a quick cruise through the ads and didn't see it. It could be done but it would a be a good amount of work I think. Good luck and post up a how-to if you decided to tackle it.

I did it in the 1995 Sport I had before my current boat. Not the same boat, obviously, but a similar idea. I installed some Kicker 6" speakers (i forget the model number, but they were the white marine speakers). The foam of the seat was so thick that I didn't need to cut the fiberglass at all. I think Wetsounds are a bit deeper, though, so you'd likely have to drill a hole with a hole saw. I'll try to find a pic if you're interested.
