Any Suggestions on a Sealed 10" Sub for use with Polk d5000.5 5-channel amp?

Thank you for any advice. I've been searching like crazy and can't seem to decide on a subwoofer.

1999 Sport Nautique
-No plans for tower speakers
-No headunit just Clarion EQS746 using phone to play music
-2 pairs of polk dxi650 coaxials ( same specs as the db650 )
-Polk D5000.5 5-channel amp with Sub channel rated 200W RMS @ 4ohms, 400W RMS @ 2 ohms, 1 ohm stable @ 500W

I tested the sealed sub/box from my car (10" Rockford Fosgate P2D2-10/cheap enclosure) under the observers seat and I thought everything sounded great. I wasn't sure the sealed enclosure would sound as good as it did in the boat.

I planned on going the sealing cheap box route with Resin ect.. I do have the tools and needed to built a box if there was a good reason to.

I'm not trying to see how cheap I can go on the sub, but I know my choices will be limited due to the amp output. I was thinking not more than $200-$250 for sub and enclosure.

I have a similar set up, 5 channel amp, and 4 in boat speakers- No towers. What I did was under $200.0 for the sub and enclosure.

I had a local stereo shop (small shop, not big box) build a sealed box and covered it with resin, installed speaker terminals, and added poly fill for me. The charged me $75.00, and I was very pleased with the results, they radius the edges, and I sprayed with bed liner and added feet . I installed my sub behind the drivers kick panel, facing it out towards the drivers seat. I also added a 12" sub grill to the kick panel.

I went with a 10" Alpine Type S, my original choice was one of the polk's. I'm very pleased with my system, it doesn't kill fish, but it sounds nice, and has plenty of volume. I've also added an eq/line driver with sub volume and aux input, since most everything we listen to comes from a phone or an ipod.

I would look at the Sundown SA10 or SD2-10 over the E series. Much more robust subs and can handle a ton of power. If you ever decide to put the sub on a dedicated amp these can handle 750+ all day long without issue. They are pretty musical and get loud as well. I'm thinking of swapping the JL8W3 in my truck for the SD2-8 because it just flat gets it and I want a little more ooomph.

The other nice thing about the SD2 is that's it's only 4.75" deep and is designed so the magnet can sit against the back wall and not overheat. If you're cramped for space only having to do a 5" deep box can make a big difference over needing about 7" of depth on the E series to keep it cool.
