Hi Everybody,
Proud new owner of a 1997 SNOB. Great Boat!! However, unfortunately, it still has all the stock stereo stuff. I'm wondering how much of this I want to do myself vs. how much of this I want to leave to the professionals. Really, I'm wondering if I want to undertake the project at all? Anyway, the first question is this. To change out the deck, is it just as simple as pulling these screws out on that plate where the deck is and then I have access to everything? Or do I actually have to pull those thumbscrews out and get access to all of the dash nonsense?
Secondarily, I would be very curious to see any project build pics that anybody might have of the best areas you found for putting amps, subs, etc. It's a pretty small boat, so packing in big sound would definitely take a high level of creativity and I would love to see pics or even descriptions of what others have done.
Thanks
Scott
