I am planning on building a ported enclosure that sits in front of the drivers feet under the instrument panel.
My plan is to use one JL 12W6v3-d4 in a slot ported enclosure that matches the specs for the driver something like 1.3 cubic feet.
Power to the sub will be class d amp pushing 500watts at 2 ohms.
My question is should the sub face the rear of the boat or load itself into the bow.
Also not sure where to place the vent. My first idea was to have the sub facing the rear and the vent on the opposite site venting into the bow.
Please if anyone has ideas to what works best let me know
