So now that I have my two rev8s running off my syn4 with only minor problems (I have a ground loop hum at low volume) I want to install my 420 EQ. I have a 2009 230 with mostly stock system except the tower. Here are the details
CMD5
Polk 500.1 powering the sub behind the driver and 4 rear speakers. (Using rear RCAs off HU)
HU powering bow speakers (Somehow connected directly to the HU through front side on HU?)
SYN4 powering two Rev8s (Using front RCAs on HU).
So far I have been using the fade to control more volume to the tower. However as expected the bow speakers get blasted. Thus the need for the EQ.
However in tuning the EQ it says to take the volume on the HU to 80%. Won't that blast out the bow speakers if the 420eq is only sending volume to the two amps?
