    Stereo Installation (Power Lead-Red)

Installed a JBL cd receiver in the dash of my '88 Nautique. Instructions sucked with wiring. Wondering if anyone has installed a stereo in their boat. I have the power (red) wire connected to the battery (hot) and want to connect it to the "acc" switch. Is there a real easy was to do this?
Do I need to pull the switch panel off?
    Thanks....

    RE: Stereo Installation (Power Lead-Red)

If I remember correctly, there should be a wire coming from that switch that is accessible. I installed a stereo in an 88 a few years back for someone. If not you will need to remove the dash panel. If the acc. switch runs something else you can always splice into it if it will not overload the breaker.check the amp draw of the stereo.

Got it hooked up. Found the "acc" orange wire behing the dash. Stereo works great now. Thanks again.
