Power for ws pro 485

I currently have a polk d5000.5 amp and im planning on bridging four channels of that to go to a pair of pro 80s and the 5th channel to go to my sub. Im thinking about buying a polk d2000.2 amp for the 485 i just bought. That would be 500 watts rms to the 485. That sound good?(pun)

i used to run mine off of the syn 6 ch's 5&6 that produced 600 watts rms on paper. i remember reading about many people running 750 watts. i would personally go more than 500 watts. a syn2 amp would be awesome. i'm no expert, but that 500 watts at 14.4 is never going to be seen.

This past spring, I went down from 700W from a Syn-2 to 585 from an SD-6 on my Rev-410 and really did not notice any loss of SQ or volume. I have also powered a pro-485 with 400W from a Syn-4 bridged to the same 700W Syn2 before the Rev-410.

You will not be disappointed with 500W rms plus to a Pro-485. For a bit more wattage, but also a bit more money, the Wet Sounds HT-2 would be right at 600W rms.
