I need some 1 7/8" wetsounds brackets

Anybody got some laying around? The two pro80s and 485 i bought didnt come with the right brackets for my tower.

Ok so MLA hooked me up with some inserts but am i stupid or something? They dont seem to fit right on my existing bracket.

I have never had Wetsounds products unfortunately so I don't know what they normally look like but those look just like the Kicker inserts to me. Maybe MLA sent you the wrong ones by mistake. Are they hard plastic?

Looks like those clamps came with some inserts, what their width?

The metal clamps are 1 3/4"

te plastic inserts made for a 2 1/2" tower are 2" wide

and the inserts i got from MLA are 1 3/4" wide

I may have pulled the inserts for a different clamp. Wet Sounds has used 2 different clamps w/inserts over the years and now do not use an insert at all. All that unused stuff gets tossed in a bin together. let me look again, but that was the only insert that was 1-7/8". You may have to mix/match a 1-5/8 and 2 in each clamp.

Looking closer at was offered with the TC2S clamp like you have, 1-7/8" was not an included insert size. What I have on hand is as fallows:

two (2) sets of 2"
four (4) sets of 1-3/4" one clam shell is missing the rubber insert, but one from a 2" or 1-5/8 will fit
four (4) sets of 1-5/8"

Your're welcome to what you think will work. I think a mix of a 1-3/4 and 2 per clamp will fit the 1-7/8 tube.

Ya maybe if you sent the 2 sets of 2" and 2 sets of the 1 5/8"? Or maybe just send it all and i will send back what i dont use lol

yep. If you mix n match and use one half of one size and one half of the other size, you would only need 2 sets of each size.

I'll mail it out in the AM. I will probably ship more then whats needed just to make it easier.
