    Amp recommendation

Total noob here when it comes to stereo's, just looking for a replacement for a bad amp that won't break the bank. Would like to keep it around $300 if that's possible without regretting it down the road.

2006 Air Nautique 226 team with stock Polk speakers, sub, Clarion APX480M and APX280M. Need to replace the 480. Like I said, nothing fancy, just something with decent sound.

    Thanks for any help.

Thanks. After researching and reading reviews, decided on the Polk D4000.4.

MLA... What is your opinion about using marine certified and just standard amps?

          H20polo,

I have no issues with using non-marine amps and subs in a fresh water trailer boat, when the application permits.
