I currently have 4 wetsounds 6.5 with there cans and not very happy. My company is sponsored by kicker and noticed they have enclosures with two 6.5 and horns. Has anyone used these on a newer sante? Mine is a 2012
Thanks

Are you speaking of the KM6500.2 or now they call them KMS67? I've never personally heard them, but read many reviews on here, WakeWorld and other sites about them. For a budget friendly HLCD tower system they seem to get many praises. I've never seen them on a 2012 SAN, but assuming the cans you currently have are large enough, I don't see why you couldn't just replace them and possibly change amps to power them correctly.
What WS 6.5 do you currently have and what are you not happy with?
Its funny that people label these as price-point, ect. Until Kicker reduced the pricing for 2014 on the KM6500.2 and their pods, this system came in right in the range of most of the 8" HLCD systems and more then most 6.5" HLCD setup. So make no mistake, these are not a price-point entry level HLCD, they are the real deal.
I really like this setup when powered in the 250W rms range per side. Thats more then most 6.5" HLCDs and in the neighborhood of some 8" HLCD's. The dedicated mid-bass driver and component style compression driver with horn, offer a very smooth and natural sound. Not like a traditional 6.5" pro-axial HLCD that can lack enough mid-bass to balance out the overly aggressive compression driver.
Core rider,
I'm not happy with the loudness or the tone of these. I had 4 kicker 6.5 on my 03 tower that would make your ears bleed.
I want to get there enclosure and speakers to mount on my tower if all possible. So far I'm not a huge fan of arc audio and the entry level wetsounds I have.

What Wet Sounds speakers (aka XST-65, XST650 or Pro-60) do you have and what amp is driving them? Its sounds like you have a coaxial tower pod and you are looking for a setup that will project to a wake-boarder in tow. its like having a Cadi CTS Sedan, when its the Escalade you need to pull the boat.

Wired and tuned correctly, that combo would make for a great surf/party cove setup. But, its not the most ideal type of speaker for those that want to project strong clear volume to a wake-boarder in tow.
Your current Arc 300.4 would the absolute perfect amp to drive a single pair of Rev-10. This would be the best all around for surf and wake-board sound quality and projection.

The only reason I call these a "price point" HLCD is if existing speaker cans are used, which it sounds like lucky7t has. I agree that buying cans to go with the speakers makes them about the same price as everything else on the market these days.

I meant nothing towards you, so i hope you didnt not take offence. I see this on a lot of forums. Kicker may not offer a 10" HLCD or the Best SQ 7.7 speaker, but they do offer a quality built product at a good price. ALL there marine products are built from the ground up as a marine component, unlike some that take a car speaker or amp and put an "M" in the part number and market it as a marine piece.
For those with 4 tower pods that want to upgrade to an HLCD, the Kicker KM6500.2 is the best in terms of sound quality and output. Now that they offer pods in 2 different options, they are a great option for those wanting to start from scratch.
