Advice regarding 2 vs 4 Rev8 Wet Sounds and Sirius XM

    Hi everyone,
I just bought a new 2014 Ski Nautique 230 with a Z5 bimini. I took it out for the first time this sunday. It was sweet.

I had a question. My current set up is with two Rev 8 WetSound speakers. My dealer offered me two more for a total of 4 for about 700 extra. Do you think this is worth it, or is it going to be loud enough

Also, does anyone use the Sirius XM option on their polk stereo? If so, how do you use it? How do you set it up?

    Thanks.

Not sure about the rev 8's but that sounds cheap

I have Sirius radio. It's easy to setup once installed. You simply select it as a source and get the radio Id and call them and setup an account. Works great

Doubling the speakers will double the output basically. Will just the one pair get the job done? Hard to say without knowing what amp is driving them.

The Rev10s sound better than the Rev8s, not sure they will fit with the Z5 though. I have 4 Rev8s and they do sound really good. The Rev10s offer more mid and low range though. $700 is a good price (assuming you have enough amp to push all 4 of them).

You can't argue with the $700 add-on offer. However, that may not be the end of it because you may not have enough power presently to properly drive two pair of HLCDs. So inquire about the power situation and share what you find out.

                I fit 4 Rev 10s on my 2012 with the Z5 just fine. Fitting 2 Rev 10s on a 2014 shouldn't be a problem.
