New factory stereo on 210 issues

I took my 2014 210 out on the lake yesterday and have a few concerns about the stereo. To begin with, I had a factory subwoofer in stalled by the dealer. I put on the "bassiest" song I could find and barely felt anything when I put my hand on the sub speaker. Next, the fade seems odd. Fade to the front only plays the bow speakers and fade back plays the rears and tower speakers. It seems like fade front should play all interior speakers and fade back should play the towers. Is that just a matter of switching plugs at the amp or are the rears and towers wired together? Finally, when I used the link screen to adjust fade, then went back to the home screen, the volume buttons now controlled fade and not volume. So far I'm not real happy about the factory stereo "upgrade".

And you never will be happy. Most boat builders are just that, they don't know and in most cases will not tune or even install correctly. Same goes with most dealerships. You would be better off learning how do tune and tweak it yourself or take it to a reputable stereo shop.

My first guess would be the gain is turned down on your sub amp, but even the factory sub and install isn't going to sound great because of poorly chosen components for the install.

I got my boat back from the stereo shop today. It turns out all of the interior speakers were wired to the head unit, only the sub was wired to the 5 channel amp and the towers were wired to the 4 channel amp. I'm thinking the good folks at the Nautique either screwed up bad on my brand new 2014 210, or they don't know what they're doing.
