Hi all, New to the family with the purchase of my first boat. With the winter we are having the boat is still at the dealer until things warm up so pardon my lack of info. Does anyone know what size amps were in the stock system? There are 2 clarion amps but I did not look at size. The system looks stock, polk/momo interior speakers and sub. The tower speakers were stolen but the dealer had 4 polk 6x9 typhoon tower speakers they threw in the deal. Will the stock amps be able to power the entire system and how would I wire the tower speakers in? Thanks for the help. Craig

It probably would have been the Clarion marine 4 chnl and 2 chnl. What do you mean by size, wattage?
If they just stole the tower pods, then wire the new ones right back up and nothing else SHOULD need to be changed.
No, those 2 amps can not effectively power the entire system, so the bow pair of in-boats are wired to the head-unit. When upgrading tower speaker and amp, i typically leave the OEM 2 chnl installed and move the sub to it, relocate the bow speakers to the 4 chnl along with the 4 main cabin speakers.

The Kicker KMX400.2 Marine Class-D 2 chnl would deliver 100W rms to those Polk tower speakers. This would free up amp chnls for the bow speakers.
Or, the Kicker KMX800.5 to replace the Clarion 4 chnl. Dedicated sub chnls and 4 full-range chnls for the 6 in-boats and use the existing 2 chnl for the 4 tower pods.
