Anybody know what's the easiest way to run wire from the port observer seat area to the starboard side behind the driver on a 2014 230? I'm trying to install a battery charger under the observer seat and I've got batteries on both sides of the boat. Two under the port side lean back and two more under the starboard side lean back. They are set up like this on purpose so that the weight is evenly distributed. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yep ive done this on my last few boats. Up and around the bow, or back through the engine compartment. Ensure you meet ABYC standards and fuse it on BOTH ends within 7 inches of the power source. I used 200a fuses.
quality 2 gauge wire or thicker for 15-20ft will be insane pricey. Reccomend you go on amazon or other websites and find quality 2ga, 1ga 20ft jumper cables.... Then just cut the clamps off. I don't know of any way to do it cheaper than that, approx $75. Then get 2 quality ANL or similar inline fuses for each side.
funny you just put this up, I just completed this yesterday on my G232019 G23 450

2ga cable for a battery charger???
Given the distance, I would consider using 2 single-bank battery chargers. or, consult the charger manufacturer to see how long the charge leads can safely be extended and mount the charger in the middle.

I think I'm gonna go a different route with this. Ryan, battery cables have already been run in that very same manner. This is for battery charger lead cables. I think I'm just gonna swap the battery locations so that the stereo batteries are on the port side instead of the starboard side. The cranking batteries will always be charged by the alternator and the stereo batteries can just be charged at the end of each day when I put the boat up.
MLA, it's a Prosport 20+ Gen 2 charger. I've got the cable extender kit they sell if I need it but I'm not sure I really want to go that route or if that will be enough. Ideally I'd like to be able to charge all batteries using the charger (total of 4 but at least have 3 connected directly; the fourth one is connected in parallel so the charger would still charge it). I also thought about just tapping into where both of these connect to on the perko switch instead of running longer wires but I'm guessing there's a reason why I shouldn't do that.
As a side note, had my first surf set behind the boat today and I am ecstatic!2016 Super Air Nautique 230 (sold)
