      Did you buy them from clickbond or somewhere else? Link? When the boat comes out of storage, I will be looking to do a similar mounting setup for my amp. Thanks.

          I also used the clickbond fasteners. I made an amp rack out of plywood coated with fiberglass resin. Placed it in the same place as wakefun. I got the clickbond parts from:

          They ship fast, but communication is poor. Still, I recomend them, the prices seemed good.

              i know this post is very old. I do really like the standoffs. i think when I do do my stereo upgrade, i will be using them. i'm glad i read this

                I see how the fasteners are mounted to the hull and then the finished result with them thru the carpet... I assume you peeled the carpet back and drilled holes in the carpet?

                  Sorry I never saw your question.........I just cut a little hole in the carpet and the studs stick through.
