Tower Speaker Wire Rubber Jeacket Replacement?

I am powder coating my tower, and I want to replace the worn speaker wirer rubber jacket.

Has anyone found a good replacement wire jacket?

And does anyone know how to disassemble the speaker connector?

Are you referring to a short length of heat shrink that was uses to dress up the service loop on each side of the connector? If so, you would need to remove the terminals from the connector body in order to put on a new section. If on a section that has no connector, but just a service loop that jumps from one section of tower to another where is cant pass through, you would have to disconnect from one end and pull the harness out of the tower.

He would have to remove all the wiring to powdercoat it.

Could you post a picture of the connector? If it's a deutsch connector, then it'll be fairly easy to dissasemble. Look at end of this video, it shows you how to dissemble the connector.

Heat shrink. I'm a moron and figured those plugs out, just make notes of what color wire went in what number position.
