'13 G23 - stereo wire identification HELP needed

I was looking at the stereo and amp wiring harness and found a wire that appears to have a purpose, but am struggling to find out what it is.

Can an anyone please help identify this wire and where it should be attached?

It appears to have to appropriate length and connector size of the main (power) harness at the back of the stock radio head unit.

If anyone is willing to crawl under their port side cabinet and look for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Given that its hanging out with the blue amp turn-on, yellow B+/MEM and red head-unit turn-on, id says its the head-unit ground and has backed out of the white square connector.

More clarification- it is a black wire, marked "stereo" with a white piece of tape. It has the length and size of the wires going into the power wire harness plug at the back of the head unit.

All functionality of the system appears to be intact.

There is a black going in and out of the harness block. The blue (seen in the pic)has a different connector type.

        Thanks, MLA for your reply.

I looked further. There are red, black and blue in & out of that block.
What do you mean by yellow B+/mem?

That yellow wire looks like the head-units main battery positive supply wire, which is also the memory. Its wired directly to the battery or main battery switch. its not the key or rocker switched turn-on.

Took another look at the that white connector block at the back of the h/u. The black connects to a black, yellow to yellow, red to red, and blue to blue.

There are no other blacks going into or going out of the block. (There is a set of gray, white, and purple, but they are smaller wires and they are only coming from the h/u, but not out of the block)

            Any other ideas?
Would some one please take a look at their h/u wiring?
I am trying to identify the black wire in the photo marked 'stereo'.

            Thanks!
