I just purchased a 2003 Sport 216 that is in need of new speakers. I'd like to do it myself, how do I get the cloth grills off?

Take the panels off and the speakers should be accessible from the back side. If you look behind, there are bolts that hold the panel on.2000 Air Nautique -
I just had mine off for new skins recently. Here are some pics that will give you an idea of what is back there. I want to say they are 5/16s nuts but I can't remember for sure.

Sorry to join in the thread, i'm replacing my 6 speakers shortly in my 2003 SAN. I searched a bit and found some nice installs but not much how-to info.
How much effort is involved with installing new 6.5's on the front of the panels? Lots of cutting and upholstery work? Any help from someone who's done it?
