2012 210 Factory Clarion stereo. Volume goes to max.

I have a 2012 210 Team Edition with the LINC system and the factory Clarion stereo system. When we are wake boarding or surfing, occasionally the stereo will suddenly go to FULL BLAST. Not cool. I think it may have something to do with the auto volume. Any suggestions?

Turn off auto volume? I usually start out with volume set at 15 at idle and with auto volume set to 5 at both surf and wakeboard speeds it goes up to 32-35. Thats way short of full blast but that should give you a general idea.

It's not the auto volume. It goes from quiet to full blast when surfing or barely moving. The auto volume is down to one.
