I'm looking to install an amp on my 2005, 205 ltd. As I look at the wiring on the XMD3, I'm feelig a little confused. I'm having trouble even knowing which wires are the speaker wirers. Does anyone out there have proper wiring details, even a little thing on where I should be cutting the speaker wires to splice to the amp, any help is greatly appreciated as I do not want to butcher it.

RE: Help wiring an amp to XMD3 deck
Here's an old stereo installer's trick. Using a AA battery brush the speaker leads across the battery, it will make a scratching sound out of the speaker. This is how I identify all speaker wires, you can also identify polarity when they do things like light blue/dark blue on speaker wires. You can also set a multimeter to measure resistance then brush the speaker leads but it doesn't always work with digital multi-meters.
