So I've got an 05 SANTE.. The original amp in it is fried. I picked up a used one (seller says it has never been installed so it's new)
on a local classified ad.
The new amp I have is the successor to the original amp in the boat.
The old amp is a APX480M and the new one is the APX490M.
All the inputs and stuff look the same on the two amps and the install looks pretty straight forward.
Having never done anything like this was wondering if anyone can offer any advice. Ie things I should look for, or do to make the install go smoothly.
Also the previous owner added a 2ch amp and a pair of tower speakers shortly before I bought the boat. Wanted to make sure everything is correct on the current amp and I can just set the new one up the same.
Any advice would be appreciated.
