I use "starboard" which is hdpe. Then you can wrap it in carpet or whatever you want.

Cheaper version is Advantech subflooring. You can find it on any housing job site. 50 year guarantee.

        What is starboard or hdpe?

        How thick is this board?
I wanted to add another amp for the two speakers in the open bow area.
I wanted to mount the amp using the inter bulkheard or wall.
On my 2005 SANTE the two existing amps are located on the portside(passenger side) inter gunnel.
I wanted to keep this new amp in the same area (area behind the seat).
Since I wanted to use the existing bolts, I wanted to keep the amp board thin.
I wanted to use 1/4" plywood. Possibly using a fiber glass coating, and carpet

It's just a plastic material that is easily worked with common tools. Drill saw route as if it were plywood but it will last in marine environment.

When I have a project I usually watch ebay. You can usually pick up scraps big enough for a fair price. Sheets get expensive.

I seen this in my local menards store. Unfortunately there isn't one in MA, but maybe you have a similar home improvement store.

I'm not sure on the size you need but I have heard of people having good luck with plastic cutting boards. Cheap and easy enough to drill and cut to size.
